“Try not to become a person of success but rather a person of value.”
Albert Einstein

Einstein’s quotation serves as a constant reminder of what is most important. Striving to be of value is at the core of how I live my life. This drives me to set and accomplish goals, constantly learn, and cultivate deep and long-lasting relationships. To me, being of value is exemplified by aligning the use of your time and resources with what truly matters to you. I believe the primary role of a financial planner is to empower clients so they may set and meet financial goals that align with their values. I do this by knowing my clients well and using that insight to provide the guidance needed to navigate the decisions that will set them up to accomplish their unique goals.

I was born and raised in New Hampshire and, for better or worse, have never lived anywhere else. I am deeply tied to New England's land and natural beauty through my family’s history as farmers in Vermont and my love of the mountains and beaches of this region. You can generally find me working in my yard or escaping into the wilderness for an adventure when I am not in the office.

I live in Somersworth, NH, with my wife, Marielle, and our daughter, Olive. Together, we enjoy the outdoors and spending time with family and friends. We love that the seacoast has an abundance of great places to eat and enjoy the natural beauty of this region.

Barry has been a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner since 2018 and is a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA). Before joining Cornerstone, Barry worked as a financial counselor for members of the military in the Seacoast region of NH. Before that, he worked as an advisor at another financial advisory firm in NH, as well as Fidelity Investments.

Barry graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University, with a focus in Finance.
