Cornerstone Financial Planning hosted Money Quotient’s, "Fundamentals of Financial Life Planning" training course in Portland, Maine on December 10-12, 2014. Cornerstone’s principals, Jill Boynton, CFP® and Susan Veligor, CFP®, along with Mackenzie Arsenault, CFP® and other financial planners, attended the training.
Money Quotient is an organization with a mission to facilitate the exploration and implementation of a value-based, life-centered approach to financial planning. Money Quotient philosophies, tools and practices are embraced and implemented by Cornerstone Financial Planning in their approach to meeting the unique financial planning needs of their clients.
During the intensive three-day "Fundamentals of Financial Life Planning" training at Cornerstone’s offices, “Our financial planners got a thorough overview of Money Quotient’s unique model of life-centered financial planning.” said Veligor. She added, “We received the full suite of Money Quotient (M.Q.) tools and materials, and through hands-on experience, we learned how to integrate and custom-fit the M.Q. tools and processes into our financial planning practices. This knowledge will help us strengthen our client relationships and provide better service both as individual planners and as a company. Ultimately the process helps clients get to the heart of their values and priorities, and create a framework to align their financial plan with their life goals.”
