Cornerstone’s commitment to supporting our local communities is an ideal that dates back to the founding of the company in 2004. While many local community action groups resonate with our company, The Junior League of Portland, ME (JLP) is prominent, as Mackenzie Arsenault and Anna Traugh are active members! Mackenzie has been a member of The Junior League of Portland, ME (JLP) for over 7 years and this is Anna’s first year in the league. The JLP is a nonprofit organization of women committed to promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women, and improving community through effective action and leadership.
Our company is proud to have been a sponsor for the Junior League of Portland’s Annual Meeting on May 25th, held at the Black Point Inn in Scarborough. At this year-concluding meeting the guest speaker was former Junior League member, Portland Mayor Kate Snyder, who spoke on public policy issues prevalent in our communities. Additionally, the event included an award ceremony where Anna Traugh was recognized as ‘Outstanding New Member of the Year’ for 2022.
We look forward to seeing the work that the JLP continues in the coming year as they celebrate their 100th year of community outreach and service.
