Mackenzie hosted the successful event that took place on Tuesday, May 18th. The day was filled with informational speakers, group discussions, Q&A sessions, as well as networking opportunities to connect with fellow professionals in Maine. The agenda for the conference was designed with varying professions and schedules in mind, providing three sessions throughout the day that individuals were welcome to attend as able.

The morning session, Coffee and Communication, began with a networking meet and greet, followed by three wonderful speakers: Jill Parker, Kelly Flagg, and Ashley Adams. Attendees were then invited to join breakout rooms for further questions on the presentations.

The lunchtime event, How to Make the Most of Your Maine Summer, featured three exceptional speakers: Molly Geiger, Carolann Ouellette, and Jenny Kordick. After the presentations, the speakers shared some of the challenges that have been overcome in the past year, major takeaways from the session, and some of their favorite Maine activities for Summer.

The final segment of the day started with an introduction to the MWN Board members and a presentation by Shannon Kinney. The day was rounded out with a raffle and an extended afternoon networking session for all women in attendance. A huge thank you to all the speakers who presented and to the sponsor for the day, Bangor Savings Bank, without whom this event would not have been possible.
