Sharpening my knowledge as a divorce financial planner

Posted by on September 25, 2013

Last week I attended the Association of Divorce Financial Planners (ADFP) 11th annual conference in Chicago. The ADFP is an interdisciplinary association whose members work on behalf of their clients to research and analyze personal, business and tax issues related to divorce. We explain financial options, help set priorities and lead our clients through the hard choices they face in a divorce.

Divorce financial planning is a growing segment within the financial planning industry. The annual conference is the ADFP’s premier education and networking event and highlights the quality, distinction and excellence of the association and its members. The agenda included two days of programs featuring the leading practitioners in the field speaking on the emerging trends in divorce financial planning and best practices.

The ADFP conference is an opportunity to learn from the best and apply what I’ve learned for the benefit of my clients.
